AutoCAD the Software is not included with the course purchase. We highly recommend purchasing AutoCAD LT, a cost-effective of regular AutoCAD without 3D capabilities. Here is a link to AutoCAD LT by AutoDesk.
What course is best for me?
We recommend reviewing course details and descriptions listed on each course page and evaluate based on your needs. However, we typically see:
- AutoCAD for Landscape Design (Course Only) - purchased by established companies / firms with employees that already have pre-built CAD libraries with office standards and are looking for a training program for their employee(s) to learn AutoCAD.
- AutoCAD for Landscape Design with 280+ CAD Library - purchase by freelancers with some experience in the landscape field but are not familiar with AutoCAD. This course is designed to provide you with 280+ pre-built CAD landscape symbols so you don't have to spend time creating plant symbols and construction details and can focus on designing landscapes in AutoCAD from the beginning.
What system are the trainings recorded on?
All trainings were recorded on Windows PC, however, throughout the trainings, shortcuts for Mac are announced and an additional eBook outlining the minor differences between systems is supplied in PDF format.
Regardless of PC or Mac, the (24) AutoCAD commands taught in this course do not change, only shortcuts are different (ie: Command + C vs. CNTRL + C for Copy).
